Lutherwood Residential Program

In April 2025, the IMPACT program expanded from serving two units to operating across all units at the Lutherwood campus, enhancing specialized care and support for teen girls who are survivors of sex trafficking. All residential programs are administered through our managed services agreement with Community Health Network and Ascent 121, and all personnel working within these programs are employed by Community Health Network.

  • IMPACT - A Specialized Program within Lutherwood Residential

    IMPACT is a specialized program that has expanded to all six units of Lutherwood in collaboration between Lutheran Child & Family Services, Ascent 121, and Community Health Network. Since its full expansion in April of 2025, IMPACT provides comprehensive residential services for teen girls aged 12 to 18 with a history of commercial sexual exploitation and/or human trafficking. Youth in the IMPACT program receive intensive individual, family and group therapies that are specially designed to meet the unique treatment goals of the population we serve.

    Youth residing at Lutherwood continue their education through the Impact Academy II, an accredited school operated in collaboration with Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS). Impact Academy II provides a comprehensive on-site curriculum including a full-day of academics, credit recovery options, and in-school behavioral supports.

  • Emergency Shelter Care

    Emergency Shelter Care provides 24-hour a day short-term care for female adolescents, aged 12-17, who need safe, temporary shelter and support.

  • Serenity House (StopGap) & Trinity House

    Serenity House (StopGap) and Trinity House are Independent Living Group Homes that provide a supportive environment for young women, including many who have experienced Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Human Trafficking (CSE & HT). Both homes focus on developing independent living skills, promoting self-sufficiency, and fostering resilience.

Lutheran Child & Family Services follows a Wellness Policy for our IMPACT, Serenity & Trinity House, and Emergency Shelter Care programs.
