Goal setting helps us focus on what matters most and stay motivated. While every journey looks different, having a goal gives us something to work toward and a reason to keep moving forward, even when the path gets challenging.
At Pando Aspen Grove of Community Heights, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build the future they envision for themselves. By providing safe housing, access to resources, and supportive services, we help tenants take meaningful steps toward the goals that matter most to them, whether in education, employment, personal growth, financial stability, or other areas of life.
So, what does that look like in action?
Education and new opportunities: One of our tenants recently took an exciting step toward a long-standing goal: earning his GED. After completing an initial assessment, he demonstrated strong academic readiness and was able to move through the process much faster than anticipated. He is now on track to potentially achieve his goal within his first month of enrollment! Earning his GED will be more than a personal milestone; it can also open doors to new opportunities for his future.
Employment, family, and personal growth: Another tenant, a single father, has been working hard to build a more stable future for his family. After leaving a previous job, he continued providing lawn care services while searching for an opportunity that better aligned with his interests. Recently, he shared the exciting news that he had accepted a position with a local manufacturing company, where he can enjoy the hands-on work he loves while providing greater stability for his family. He also celebrated another meaningful milestone: 18 months in recovery. Together, these accomplishments reflect his dedication and resilience as he works toward the future he envisions for himself and his family.
