Maintenance Technician
Primary Functions:
- Performs routine daily checks of the campus
- Assists with planning and documentation of a preventive maintenance schedule that includes all aspects of the maintenance department
- Diagnose and repair/replace equipment as needed
- Aids in the training (cross training) of equipment
- Assists the housekeeper as needed to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and residents
- Assists the with major repairs as needed
- Will cover on-call responsibilities for the up at night and weekends as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
- Skilled in electric systems/equipment, automobile repair, mechanical systems, and plumbing
- The ability to make decisions and repairs within pre-set guidelines
- Must be able to work with little supervision
- Able to maintain a preventive maintenance log
Qualifications:
- Age 21 or older
- Preferred High School diploma or GED
- At least three years demonstrated commercial experience

Working Environment:
- Able to work hours needed to accomplish assigned tasks, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work the following schedule: W-TH-FR-SAT 2PM-12:30 AM and on call on weekends
