Do you have a passion for helping families in unfortunate situations? Are you willing to take a few hours each month to make a positive change in a child’s life? Are you interested in meeting new people while helping the community? If so, Lutheran Child and Family Services needs YOU!
Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups on a one-time or recurring basis. Most volunteer hours are available during the week but weekend opportunities also exist.

Step One: Volunteer Applications
If you are interested in volunteering at Lutheran Child and Family Services the first step is to complete a Volunteer Application. The application gathers pertinent information about you and helps us understand your interests. Please print off the application and return to

Step Two: Volunteer Orientation
After your application has been received and processed, you will be contacted to schedule a volunteer orientation. Orientation lasts 30 minutes and is scheduled during the week between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Additional times can be scheduled on a case-by-case basis.
