Emergency Shelter
Emergency Shelter Care provides 24-hour a day temporary care for adolescents 12-18 years old.
Those residing on the Emergency Shelter Care Unit are in a safe environment and receive meals, clothing and shelter for up to 60 days. Residents are given the opportunity to attend their current school, with transportation provided by Lutheran Child and Family Services. During their stay, there is also a case manager available to assist residents and their families.
Referrals are made through a variety of sources including:
- Probation
- DCS
- The DAWN project
